Type Matchup Matrix

Complete offensive and defensive type effectiveness chart for the 18 standard Cobblemon/Pokemon types.

What is a type?

Every Pokemon and move belongs to a type. Types are like rock-paper-scissors rules in battle. This chart shows those rules for all 18 types.

When your type is strong

You hit harder: 2x damage. If both enemy types are weak, that becomes 4x.

When your type is resisted

You hit softer: 0.5x damage. If both enemy types resist, that becomes 0.25x.

When there is immunity

No damage at all: 0x.

How to read the matrix quickly

  1. Pick your move type on the left (attacking type).
  2. Find the enemy type on the top (defending type).
  3. The number in the cell is your damage multiplier.
